Some of my closest friends are animals.
I’m serious.
My ability to connect soul to soul doesn’t stop with a human one. I can read energy and some of my absolute favorite to read is that of an animal.
When I’m doing a reading, and an animal comes through with a message, they typically begin by doing exactly what they did long before they died. Cats curl around a warm and favored neck, for example. Animals also show me the role they played in the life of their ‘person’.
When they illustrate through pictures, details of their life with their ‘person’, it is so beautifully validating for my client.
Animals pop-in for a quick word to help their people unstick, emotionally speaking. To me, their spirit feels much like an older family member who is sending appreciation.
I didn’t think much about the relation between animals and souls until my own sweet cat died years ago. I felt his spirit for days..even weeks following his death. The soul speaks…animal or human, the soul speaks. And as a medium I listen. We all can listen.
Some people talk to animals. Not many listen though. That’s the problem.

It is my understanding that Yes, animals do have karma to work through because they have souls. They too have their lessons to learn so they can deepen the colors in their soul. Their karma connection, however, is different than ours. Humans are far more conscious creatures who have free will and willingly, at times, choose the dark side. This adds to karmic debt.
In the end (so-to-speak), each of us will understand the truth about karma and our beloved pets. In the mean time, our animals bring us such sweetness and love, which brightens the colors in our soul. This can only help us to reach our bliss.
